چکیده

This paper addresses the issue of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) charging cables, which can disrupt communication signal for real-time monitoring status, leading to termination charging. We propose a dedicated measurement jig Combined Charging System Combo Type 1 (CCS-CT1) cable structure and models its electrical characteristics using impedance peeling technique de-embedding. The obtained pure S-parameters CCS-CT1 are then used conduct simulation integrity problem caused by Gaussian noise, is worst-case scenario that occur typical system. suggests root cause this may be related high-power AC/DC conversion device included EVSE, uses switch-mode power (SMPC) method involves nonlinear operation result increased harmonic noise more complex protocol precise control. Finally, study provides insights into challenges implementing high-speed systems offers solution obtaining accurate cables.

Identifying EV driversʼ needs for information communication technology to ease the EV charging process

Known barriers of Electric Vehicles (EVs) include their limited range and, to some extent, the underdeveloped charging infrastructure. This position paper presents initial results from a field study investigating the experience of EV drivers who are supported by a newly developed charging concept (ELVIIS) consisting of a web, smartphone and in-vehicle application. By connecting power grid owner...

Modeling and Analysis of OS Performance in High-Speed Networks

Interrupt overhead of high-speed network devices can have a significant negative impact on the performance of traditional operating system. The negative impact is primarily due to interrupt overhead associated with the intense arrival of high-speed network packets. This paper presents models and analytical techniques for capturing the behavior and studying the performance of interrupt-driven ke...

Modeling and Analysis to Estimate the End-System Performance Bottleneck Rate for High-Speed Data Transfer

The bandwidth available in a high-speed backbone network today is much greater than the capacity at the edge devices. As an example, when the transmission line rate is 10 Gbps, the end computing machine (end-system) may not be able to cope with the arriving data rate and is hence often a bottleneck for the data transfer. This performance bottleneck depends on the end-system workload. A key defi...

Modeling and Analysis to Estimate the End-System Performance Bottleneck for High-Speed Data Transfer

The bandwidth available in a high-speed backbone network today is much greater than the capacity at the edge. As an example, when the transmission line rate is 10 Gbps, the end computing machine (end-system) may not be able to keep up with the arriving data rate and is hence often a bottleneck for data transfer. A key deficiency in most transport protocols is the lack of an accurate estimate of...
