Accumulated fatigue damage assessment of side structural details in a double hull tanker based on spectral fatigue analysis approach

چکیده

The fatigue life of structural details in the double side a tanker ship was investigated, employing spectral analysis approach. stochastic environmental loads were derived by seakeeping software based on 3D diffraction theory, frequency domain, and then mapped finite element model for hull. stress response at considered extracted from accumulated damage estimated Palmgren-Miner's rule. reduction hull girder section modulus deterioration strength due to corrosion taken into account. influences different wave scatter diagrams, modulus, concentration factor, free S–N curve, direction, spectrum operational profile investigated.
