Accretion Flow onto Ellis–Bronnikov Wormhole

چکیده
Study of accretion onto wormholes is rather rare compared to that black holes. In this paper, we consider flow cosmological dark energy modeled by barotropic fluid the celebrated Ellis–Bronnikov wormhole (EBWH) built Einstein minimally coupled scalar field ?, violating null condition. The accreting assumed be phantom, quintessence, dust and stiff matter. We begin first pointing out a mathematical novelty showing how EBWH can lead Schwarzschild hole under complex Wick rotation. Then, analyze profiles radial velocity, density rate mass variation due compare with those hole. also massless has zero ADM but what call nonzero Wheelerian (“mass without mass”), composed non-trivial field, shows gravitational effects. Our conclusion SBH phantom decreases consistently known results, while, in contrast, increases. Exactly an opposite behavior emerges for non-phantom these two objects. Accretion (i.e., mass) shares same patterns as massive EBWH; hence there no way distinguish cases means flow. contrasting variations could reflection distinct topology central

The pattern of accretion flow onto Sgr A *
The material accreting onto Sgr A* most probably comes from the nearby stars. We analyze the pattern of this flow at distances of a fraction of a parsec and we argue that the net angular momentum of this material is low but non-negligible, and the initially supersonic disk accretion changes into subsonic flow with constant angular momentum. Next we estimate the flow parameters at a distance RBH...
متن کاملSelf-Similar Hot Accretion Flow onto a Neutron Star
We consider hot, two-temperature, viscous accretion onto a rotating, unmagnetized neutron star. We assume Coulomb coupling between the protons and electrons, and free-free cooling from the electrons. We show that the accretion flow has an extended settling region which can be described by means of two analytical self-similar solutions: a two-temperature solution which is valid in an inner zone,...
متن کاملHot Settling Accretion Flow onto a Spinning Black Hole
We study the structure and properties of hot MHD accretion onto a Kerr black hole. In such a system, the hole is magnetically coupled to the inflowing gas and exerts a torque onto the accretion flow. A hot settling flow can form around the hole and transport the angular momentum outward, to the outer edge of the flow. Unlike other hot flows, such as advectionand convection-dominated flows and i...
متن کاملHoyle–Lyttleton Accretion onto Accretion Disks
We investigate Hoyle–Lyttleton accretion for the case where the central source is a luminous accretion disk. In classical Hoyle-Lyttleton accretion onto a “spherical” source, accretion takes place in an axially symmetric manner around a so-called accretion axis. In the spherical case the accretion rate Ṁ is given as ṀHL(1− Γ), where ṀHL is the accretion rate of the classical Hoyle–Lyttleton acc...
متن کاملAccretion onto Magnetic White Dwarfs
Recent developments in the accretion onto magnetic white dwarfs are reviewed. Accreting magnetic white dwarfs display many of the characteristics of accreting systems of a galactic scale, with the advantage that in these systems the accreting material is collimated into a relatively well-determined 1-dimensional ow.
