Accelerating Learners’ Self-confidence Level in Second Language Acquisition: A Qualitative Study

Second Language Acquisition (SLA) is a complex psychosomatic process. As per educational psychology, its acquisition process depends on some affective determinants related to learners' self-confidence that accelerates learners’ zeal of learning the language. However, studies are rare empirically explore factors or ways help learners build their level. Thus, prime focus this study find out associated with accelerating in SLA through qualitative case study. Data have been collected semi-structured interviews carried over phone due COVID-19 pandemic. A total 13 respondents (7 boys and 6 girls) interviewed who recently completed postgraduation. The obtained data analyzed content analysis technique. finds learner gets accelerated by three main like motivational factor, social environmental factor which motivate learn L2. Based findings, policy recommendations suggested further improve L2
