Holographic Fine Structure in Nuclear Resonant Absorption
The majority of x-ray, electron and neutron scattering techniques are based on measuring the scattered wave intensity in the far field. Probing the scattered wave field inside the sample, which can be effected by monitoring the absorption of particular atoms or nuclei of the sample, makes it possible to use Gabor's holographic formalism [1] to analyze the scattering pattern and to overcome the ...

متن کاملMagnetic properties of holographic multiquarks in the quark-gluon plasma
We study the magnetic properties of the coloured multiquark states in the quarkgluon plasma where the gluons are deconfined and the chiral symmetry is still broken, using the Sakai-Sugimoto model. External magnetic field induces a first order phase transition for certain multiquark states where the magnetization abruptly turns into negative values at large field. Magnetic field also makes it mo...
متن کاملHolographic recording of laser-induced plasma.
We report on a holographic probing technique that allows for measurement of free-electron distribution with fine spatial detail. Plasma is generated by focusing a femtosecond pulse in air. We also demonstrate the capability of the holographic technique of capturing the time evolution of the plasma-generation process.
