The article reconstructs the main events and ideas of III Russian Philosophical Congress held in Rostov-on-Don 2002. Quantitative characteristics events, topics plenary breakout sessions, colloquiums round tables are given. chronology emotional intellectual atmosphere congress being restored. is not limited to memorial tasks only. A number theoretical positions containing an analysis socio-cultural situation at turn second third millennia, opening space modern social consciousness, realities this world – reason, science, morality, their convergence divergence civilizational differences subject ongoing discussions. discussion future philosophy, congress, its fate characterized.
