AB1756-PARE FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG SCLERODERMA PATIENTS

Background Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is an autoimmune multi-systemic disease with predominant affection of connective tissue resulting in progressive fibrosis the skin and internal organs. Monitoring measures functioning disability crucial during follow up to identify quality life impairment. Objectives To assess influence functional impairment on SSc patients. Methods A cross- sectional study was carried out patients followed for systemic at a rheumatology department. Included completed Hospital Anxiety Depression scale its Arabic validated version. The SF-36 short form questionnaire score domains (general health, physical function, role emotional vitality, mental social body pain, general health) arabic Tunisian version used life. All data collected after patient consent analyzed using SPSS statistical package. Results Forty who fulfilled 2013 ACR/EULAR Classification Criteria Sclerosis ACR criteria were included. 80% female, median age 45 years old duration 1 year. 15%(n=6) had limited form, 85% (n=34) diffuse SSc. Fingertip ulcers observed 13 (32.5%) Raynaud’s phenomenon found 34 (85%). Severe organ involvements detected as interstitial lung 17 (42,5%), pulmonary hypertension 7 (17.5%) renal involvement 2 (5%). 38 % HAD scoring rate “possible clinical anxiety” 42% depression”. each domain significantly lower than especially dimension Role Physical function Body Pain, p=0.04 p=0.02 respectively. Skin damage also associated SF36-PF (physical function) (p=0.001) SF36-MH (mental p=0.0025 no significant association other components.
