چکیده
Background: Patient adherence is a key determinant of treatment success in rheumatologic immune-mediated diseases. Available data about to biological treatments and factors associated non-adherence limited Spain. Moreover, no studies compare between subcutaneous oral drugs. Objectives: To evaluate prescribed biologicals drugs patients with diseases assess possible predictor non-adherence. Methods: Retrospective observational study including all for from 2017 2019 the outpatient pharmaceutical care area tertiary university hospital. Non-adherence was evaluated by reviewing scheduled drug-dispensing visits computerized application. We considered non-adherent every time that patient missed at least one drug administration. Data collected: demographic, total patient-treatments, dispensing route administration dispensed visit. classified adherent considering visits. Non-adherent group: number visits, reasons non-adherence, administrations per Results: 783 included: 52.4(13.7) years; 427(54.5%) female; 164 (20.9%) smoker; 697 (89%) Caucasian. A 79 (10.1%) received more than treatment. 869 patient-treatments: 294 adalimumab (33.8%), 236 etanercept (27.2%), 78 golimumab (8.9%), 47 apremilast (5.4%), 39 certolizumab (4.5%), 34 secukinumab (3.9%), 30 tocilizumab (3.5%). 9,197 Route administration: 6,406 (93.2%), 374 (6.8%). analysis: 2417 (26.3%) non-adherence/ visits: 92 unjustified (97.5%), 33 infection (1.4%), 18 (surgery) 0.7%, 3 pregnancy (0.1%), 6 others (0.3%). Number administrations/patient treatment: 675 (77.7%).Mean 2.5 (±12.9) administrations. administrations/drug: 9.9 baricitinib (±20.8), 15.8 tofacitinib (±31.2), 25.4 (±53.2). Predictor non-adherence: ethnicity (p=0.015), (p=0.006), (p=0.036). Age (p=0.072). Conclusion: - occurred 77.7% Demographic such as well treatment, despite their different frequency administration, were predictors did not influence Disclosure Interests: None declared

Fatigue in rheumatologic diseases.
Today, fatigue still remains an under-reported symptom in rheumatologic diseases, infrequently addressed by patient and physician. Although not all of the causes of fatigue in rheumatologic diseases have been fully elucidated, recognizing the multifactorial components is essential in formulating targeted, effective treatment strategies. Deconstructing rheumatologic diseases into discrete sympto...
متن کاملA Systematic Review of Factors Associated with Non-Adherence to Treatment for Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases
BACKGROUND Non-adherence impacts negatively on patient health outcomes and has associated economic costs. Understanding drivers of treatment adherence in immune-mediated inflammatory diseases is key for the development of effective strategies to tackle non-adherence. OBJECTIVE To identify factors associated with treatment non-adherence across diseases in three clinical areas: rheumatology, ga...
متن کاملCorneal Findings in Rheumatologic Diseases
Cornea is a major structure of eyes affected in rheumatologic patients. It is important to know corneal findings in rheumatic diseases because it can provide early diagnosis and treatment for systemic disease and reduce the risk of complications as irreversible visual loss. In this article, we will summarize and discuss the corneal findings and the formation mechanisms in the diseases of Sjogre...
