A systematic space-time route planning approach coordinated with task assignment for autonomous delivery vehicles fleet

With the development and maturity of autonomous driving technology, parcel terminal distribution has taken lead as an application scenario for unmanned delivery vehicles that autonomously perform task delivering packages between centres customers. The traditional model faces challenges such high costs, low efficiency time conflicts customer convenience. Considering multiple demands parcels delivery, this paper proposes a space-time route planning coordinated with assignment vehicle fleet objective minimizing total transportation distance designs algorithm. Firstly, method period division concept reliable service are put forward integration approach is introduced. Then, based on network shortest built. According to characteristics model, algorithm by improving TS designed gain best routes fleet. Simulation results show system in can effectively accomplish simultaneously.
