چکیده

Nodular hidradenoma (NH) is an uncommon benign skin adnexal tumor that presents usually as solitary intradermal nodule. This study aims to discuss the various clinicopathological features of NH it mimics other tumors, malignancies or metastasis particularly in sites. Twenty-four cases histo-pathologically diagnosed during period from 2016 2021were taken up for study. Their clinical, gross and microscopic findings were collected records. Most tumors occurred head fifth decade. Cystic change was seen majority cases. Tumor had dual population cells with predominant clear cell component five Definitive cytological diagnosis difficult requiring excision biopsy. Characteristic clinical histological help distinguish potential mimickers need wide they can recur rarely transform malignancy.

متن کاملNodular hidradenoma over the leg
Nodular hidradenoma is a rare benign tumour of eccrine sweat gland. It usually presents as a solitary, intradermal nodule 0.5 -2 cms in diameter in most instances. It may be red, brown or bluish and sometimes may show superficial ulceration. We are presenting a case report of 50 years old female who presented with painless swelling measuring 3×3 cms over right leg for 2 years. Excisional biopsy...
متن کاملNodular hidradenoma arising on the site of a BCG scar.
Hidradenomas are tumours that arise from the adnexal structures, both eccrine and apocrine and are histologically benign. The tumours that arise from eccrine differentiation are known as poroid hidradenomas and when they arise from the apocrine glands they are called nodular hidradenomas. In our centre a 13-year-old boy presented with a slow-growing, painless erythematous fungating nodule on th...

Nodular hidradenoma (HA) otherwise called as solid cystic HA/ Eccrine acrospiroma originate from distal excretory duct of sweat gland [1]. Origin from apocrine gland of breast has been seldom noted. It’s slow growing benign freely mobile solitary tumor with solid cystic consistency. Scalp, face and extremities are common locations. The usual age of presentation is 20-50 years showing female pre...

cording to their histology, and imaging examinations are not routinely performed. However, when a large soft tissue mass exists and malignancy is suspected, then imaging may be helpful to scrutinize the nature of the tumor. Malignant nodular hidradenoma is a rare aggressive malignant tumor of the eccrine sweat glands. Approximately 50 cases had been documented up to the year 2004 in the English...
