MORE ON OSCILLATION OF nTH-ORDER EQUATIONS
In this paper we prove that a higher-order differential equation with one middle term has every bounded solution oscillatory. Moreover, the behavior of unbounded solutions is given. Two other results dealing with positive solutions are also given.
متن کاملSome recent global stability results for higher order difference equations ∗
We give a brief overview of some recent results for the global asymptotic stability of a difference equation xn+1 = f(n, xn, . . . , xn−k), n ≥ 0, assuming that the zero solution is the unique equilibrium. Different techniques are used, involving the use of new discrete inequalities, monotonicity arguments, and delay perturbation methods. For the particular case of linear autonomous difference ...

-Some new oscillation criteria for the even order damped functional differential equation (a(t)z(n-1)(t)) ' ÷ p(t)lz(n-1)(Ol#x(n-a)(O ÷ q(t)f(xIaa(t)] . . . . . =Lq.~(t)]) = 0 are established, where ~ _> O. These criteria are an extension of some of the known results. 1. I N T R O D U C T I O N Recently, Grace and Lalli [1] discussed the oscillation of the nth-order functional differential equa...
متن کاملThe Stability of Non-standard Finite Difference Scheme for Solution of Partial Differential Equations of Fractional Order
Fractional derivatives and integrals are new concepts of derivatives and integrals of arbitrary order. Partial differential equations whose derivatives can be of fractional order are called fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs). Recently, these equations have received special attention due to their high practical applications. In this paper, we survey a rather general case of FPDE t...
متن کاملOSCILLATORY CRITERIA FOR NONLINEAR nTH-ORDER DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH QUASIDERIVATIVES
Sufficient conditions are given for the existence of oscillatory proper solutions of a differential equation with quasiderivatives Lny = f(t, L0y, . . . , Ln−1y) under the validity of the sign condition f(t, x1, . . . , xn)x1 ≤ 0, f(t, 0, x2, . . . , xn) = 0 on R+ × Rn.
