A Simple 1D Convection-Diffusion Model of Oxalic Acid Oxidation Using Reactive Electrochemical Membrane

In recent years, electrochemical methods utilizing reactive membranes (REM) have been recognized as the most promising technologies for removal of organic pollutants from water. this paper, we propose a 1D convection-diffusion-reaction model concerning transport and oxidation oxalic acid (OA) oxygen evolution in flow-through system with REM. It allows determination unknown parameters by treatment experimental data predicts behavior electrolysis setup.
