A search for chemical anomalies of seven A-type stars

چکیده

We present a chemical abundance analysis of seven A-type stars with no detailed measurements in the literature. High-resolution spectra targets HD 2924, 4321, 26553, 125658, 137928, 154713, and 159834 were obtained using Coude Echelle Spectrograph at TUBITAK National Observatory. determined atmospheric abundances samples measured elemental C, N, O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, S, K, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Y, Zr, Ba, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd. The masses estimated based on their evolutionary tracks, ages calculated isochrones. also radii stars. patterns 154713 found to be agreement those classical Am stars, underabundant Ca overabundant heavier elements, moderate overabundance iron-peak elements. that 137928 have similar characteristics marginal Am-type distributions 2924 26553 are consistent pattern normal iron, nickel, zinc 125658 significantly higher than other These values suggest they among most metal-rich

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Beryllium anomalies in solar-type field stars

We present a study of beryllium (Be) abundances in a large sample of field solar-type dwarfs and sub-giants spanning a large range of effective temperatures. The Be abundances, computed using a very uniform set of stellar parameters and near-UV spectra obtained with 3 different instruments, are used to study the depletion of this light element. The analysis shows that Be is severely depleted fo...
