A Scoping Review on Teacher Agency for Inclusive Education: Mapping Existing Evidence and Conceptual Frameworks

In recent years, inclusive education research in Italy and internationally has reflected upon teacher agency its implications for students’ full inclusion. Since is an emerging theoretical construct, interpreted different ways the literature, it first necessary to aggregate existing studies, appraising both conceptualizations available evidence. To this objective, we conducted a systematic scoping review of international literature on topic. Eight frameworks emerged from literature. Also, barriers were mapped e.g., dominant ableist culture, perceived inadequacy relationship with students disability, special unpreparedness specific learning contents, marginalization teacher, lack school administration support. On other hand, teachers proved they are capable change towards more practices thanks resilience, teamwork, beliefs abilities.
 
 Mappare evidenze e framework teorici dell’agency docente relazione all’inclusione: una sistematica.
 Negli ultimi anni, la ricerca sull’inclusione scolastica Italia all’estero si è interrogata sull’agentività dei docenti sulle implicazioni pratiche che essa comporta ai fini della piena inclusione di tutte/i le/gli studentesse/i. Dal momento l’agency inclusiva un costrutto teorico emergente, interpretato modi differenti letteratura, anzitutto necessario aggregare gli studi esistenti, dal punto vista delle concettualizzazioni teoriche disponibili. Per questo, abbiamo condotto sistematica più recente letteratura internazionale sul tema. Emerge il ricorso otto evidenziano ostacoli all’esercizio inclusiva, tra cui cultura abilista dominante, percezione inadeguatezza nel rapporto con studentesse/i, l’impreparazione dell’insegnante sostegno su alcuni specifici contenuti disciplinari, disuguaglianza status fra curricolare sostegno, mancanza supporto da parte struttura governance scuola.
