A scoping review of participatory research methods in agroecology studies conducted in South Asia

Agroecology is widely regarded and advocated as a participatory approach. This scoping review assessed the extent, range, nature of available evidence on research methods in agroecology studies conducted South Asia. From 2069 records identified two databases, we included total 27 studies, which 20 were India. We found that diverse range have been used studies. However, farmers are rarely engaged study collaborators, co-researchers decision-makers. recommend more researchers consider full potential to develop relevant effective agroecological solutions.
