A rolled-off passivity theorem

چکیده
Given two nonlinear systems which only violate incremental passivity when their gains are sufficiently small, we give a condition for negative feedback interconnection to have finite gain, generalizes the small gain and theorems. The property may be determined graphically by plotting Scaled Relative Graphs (SRGs) of systems, provides engineering significance mathematical result.

Hybrid passivity and finite gain stability theorem: stability and control of systems possessing passivity violations
The stability and control of systems possessing passivity violations is considered. The authors seek to exploit the finite gain characteristics of a plant over a range in which a passive mapping no longer exists while implementing a similar hybrid passive and finite gain controller. Using the dissipative systems framework the authors define a hybrid system: one which possesses a passive map, an...
متن کاملA Trade-Off of the Schema Theorem
For years the schema theorem has been a principal mathematical foundation for Genetic Algorithms. This article briefly describes a trade-off involving crossover and mutation with respect to schema length. The one-max function, a variant of it, and finding snakes in hypercubes are used to demonstrate this trade-off, looking at the impact on solution quality solution and number of function evalua...
متن کاملpassivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading
this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
A “Mixed” Small Gain and Passivity Theorem for an Interconnection of Linear Time-Invariant Systems
We show that the negative feedback interconnection of two causal, stable, linear time-invariant systems with a “mixed” small gain and passivity frequency domain property is guaranteed to be finite-gain stable. This “mixed” small gain and passivity property refers to the characteristic that the frequency range −∞ < ω < ∞ can be divided into intervals for which the two systems in the interconnect...
متن کاملA "mixed" small gain and passivity theorem in the frequency domain
We show that the negative feedback interconnection of two causal, stable, linear time-invariant systems, with a “mixed” small gain and passivity property, is guaranteed to be finite-gain stable. This “mixed” small gain and passivity property refers to the characteristic that, at a particular frequency, systems in the feedback interconnection are either both “input and output strictly passive”; ...
