A review on Africa energy supply through renewable energy production: Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and South Africa as a case study

In this study, the importance of renewable energy as a complement to meeting demand in Africa was investigated. most African countries, larger percentage power generation is from fossil fuel-based sources, and without doubt, can be complemented with meet per country global interest on climate change. Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana South are among leading countries that blessed an abundance resources, which have potentials improve their respective potentials; thereby, contributing socio-economic growth, promote industrialization, reduce warming create green jobs. Despite abundant sources these they yet fully harness potentials, therefore, resulting deficiencies electrical country. The bulk problems associated are: little lopsided policy energy, enforcing existing policies, high tariff, lack adequate infrastructure. current study discusses ways by conscious decisions governments, alongside stakeholders’ dedication ensure sustainable supplies. Based findings energy-based greatly greenhouse gases. Also, subsidizing tariff levied job creation through resources.
