چکیده
Gas turbine (GT) performance is primarily dependent on the inlet air temperature. The power output of gas flow mass through turbine. This why at hot weathers with less dense air, drops, but cold weather high rises. cooling (IAC) technology one major drivers that enhance performance, especially during weathers. affected by various factors such as cooling, fuel type, heating value, temperature, humidity, site elevation, and exhaust losses, extraction, diluent injection, degradation, etc. aim this technical review based comparative analysis different (GTIAC) technologies its applications climate conditions. consumption due to calls for concern since it reduces GT net output. Different GTIAC has unique benefits challenges. biggest gains from evaporative are achieved hot, low-humidity climates. Furthermore, paper showed efficiency cooler majorly moisture present in air. work also reveals feasibility each application basically location.

Integration of steam injection and inlet air cooling for a gas turbine generation system
The temperature of exhaust gases from simple cycle gas turbine generation sets (GENSETs) is usually very high (around 500 C), and a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is often used to recover the energy from the exhaust gases and generate steam. The generated steams can be either used for many useful processes (heating, drying, separation etc.) or used back in the power generation system for ...
متن کاملParametric Analysis of Cooled Gas Turbine Cycle with Evaporative Inlet Air Cooling
The article investigates the effect of compressor pressure ratio, turbine inlet temperature and ambient temperature on the performance parameters of an air-cooled gas turbine cycle with evaporative cooling of inlet air. Air f ilm cooling has been adopted as the cooling technique for gas turbine blades. The mass of coolant required for turbine blade cooling is calculated f or a selected range of...
متن کاملA Multiple Inlet Swirler for Gas Turbine Combustors
The central recirculation zone (CRZ) in a swirl stabilized gas turbine combustor has a dominant effect on the fuel air mixing process and flame stability. Most of state of the art swirlers share one disadvantage; the fixed swirl number for the same swirler configuration. Thus, in a mathematical sense, Reynolds number becomes the sole parameter for controlling the flow characteristics inside the...
متن کاملExergy, Economic and Environmental Analyses of Gas Turbine Inlet Air Cooling with a Heat Pump Using a Novel System Configuration
Gas turbines incur a loss of output power during hot seasons due to high ambient air temperatures, and input air cooling systems are often used to partly offset this problem. Here, results are reported for an investigation of the utilization of a heat pump to cool the inlet air of a gas turbine compressor. The analyses are carried out for two climates: the city of Yazd, Iran, which has a hot, a...
متن کاملSuccessful Selection and Operation of Gas Turbine Inlet Filtration Systems
A gas turbine inlet filtration system is important for successful operation. The filtration system minimizes the occurrence of foreign object damage, erosion, fouling, and corrosion. The selection of the inlet filtration system is a challenging process which involved choosing multiple filtration stages based on the desired performance of the gas turbine and the local operating environment. This...
