چکیده
Background: The anterior half of the peroneus longus tendon (AHPLT) has recently gained popularity to become alternate graft choice for cruciate ligament reconstruction due its acceptable biomechanical properties, easy and safe harvest. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted compare results (ACL) with AHPLT hamstring at minimum 3 years follow-up. Knee stability, International Documentation Committee (IKDC) subjective score Tegner activity level were collected. Results: There no clinical significance regarding physical examination. Postoperative IKDC higher in group compared group. Multiple regression analysis done. parsimonious model revealed types gender most optimal variables explained postoperative score. Conclusion: can be an alternative conventional single anatomic ACL less donor site morbidity, however there must concern smaller short thin female patients.

OBJECTIVES The aim of the study was to evaluate the results of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using a peroneus longus tendon (PLT) autograft. METHODS The study included 29 patients (27 males, 2 females; mean age 30 years; range 21 to 39 years) who underwent ACL reconstruction using a PLT autograft and interference nail fixation. Fourteen patients (48.3%) also had partial meni...

BACKGROUND The results of revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction are limited in the current literature, and no studies have previously documented the outcome of revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using solely hamstring tendon grafts. HYPOTHESIS Revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with 4-strand hamstring tendon graft affords acceptable results and is ...
