Alüminyum fosfit günümüzde tar?m ilaçlar? aras?nda en s?k görülen zehirlenme nedenlerinden biridir. zehirlenmesi son derece öldürücüdür ve ne yaz?k ki, belirli bir panzehirin yoklu?u çok yüksek ölüm oranlar?na neden olur. topaklar?, su veya nem ile reaksiyona girerek, toksisitenin primer sorumlusu olan fosfin gaz?n? olu?turur. gaz? güçlü mitokondriyal toksindir sitokrom c oksidaz enzimini inhibe eder. ?iddetli metabolik asidoz, akut respiratuvar distress sendrom, kardiyojenik ?ok çoklu organ yetersizli?ine olmaktad?r. Olgular?n büyük ço?unlu?unu oral al?m nedenli zehirlenmeler olu?tururken solunumsal kaynakl? alüminyum nadirdir. Bu olgu sunumunda yanl??l?kla nedeni hayat?n? kaybeden 22 ya??ndaki kad?n hastada tan? tedavi yakla??m?n? sunmay? amaçlad?k.
