A 22-year-old Chinese man, a HBsAg carrier, presented with relapse of thyrotoxic Graves' disease complicated by thrombocytopenia and hepatitis. Platelet count and liver enzymes gradually improved following successful treatment of the thyrotoxicosis with radioactive iodine.
