چکیده
Due to the depletion of conventional reservoirs and high demand energy, unconventional will be relied on supply world's energy for foreseeable future. Unfortunately, because their complex storage flow mechanisms, modelling analysis have been very challenging. Although semi-analytical numerical models proposed, these rely somewhat simplifying assumptions require several input parameters. In this paper, a production-based model is proposed analyze predict fractured-well performance in (specifically, tight shale reservoirs). The assumes power law with stretched exponential cut-off. While power-law term governs transient-state period, term, which superposition decays, boundary-dominated period. As result, capable matching both transient state portions data. has validated data applied field Results compared other existing models. findings show that yields relatively good estimates, matches periods. may contribute ongoing efforts improve forecasting reservoirs.

Efficient simulation of hydraulic fractured wells in unconventional reservoirs
Reservoir simulators remain essential tools for improved reservoir management in order to optimize hydraulic fracturing design in unconventional low permeability reservoirs. However, the commonly-used simulator requires too much computational efforts for the description of local phenomena in the vicinity of the hydraulic fractures, and is practically infeasible for field applications, due to la...
متن کاملFoam Application in Fractured Carbonate Reservoirs: A Simulation Study
Fractured carbonate reservoirs account for 25% of world’s total oil resources and for 90% of Iranian oil reserves. Since calcite and dolomite minerals are oil wet, gas oil gravity drainage (GOGD) is known as the most influencing production mechanism. The most important issue within gas injection into fractured media is the channeling problem which makes the efficiency of gas injection process e...
متن کاملSPE 118944 A Multi-Continuum Model for Gas Production in Tight Fractured Reservoirs
Tight gas reservoirs are characterized by single-phase (gas) or two-phase (gas and liquid) flow in extremely low-permeability, highly heterogeneous porous/fractured, and stress-sensitive rock. Gas flow in such tight formations is further complicated by other co-existing processes, such as Klinkenberg effect, non-Newtonian or non-Darcy flow behavior, due to strong interaction between fluid molec...
