A path to precision cosmology: synergy between four promising late-universe cosmological probes

چکیده
In the next decades, it is necessary to forge new late-universe cosmological probes precisely constrain Hubble constant and equation of state dark energy simultaneously. this work, we show that four typical probes, 21 cm intensity mapping (IM), fast radio burst (FRB), gravitational wave (GW) standard siren, strong lensing (SGL), are expected be forged into useful tools in solving tension exploring energy. We propose synergy them rather important cosmology. simulate IM, FRB, GW, SGL data based on hypothetical observations Hydrogen Intensity Real-time Analysis eXperiment (HIRAX), Square Kilometre Array (SKA), Einstein Telescope (ET), Large Synoptic Survey (LSST), respectively. find obviously different parameter degeneracy orientations constraints, so any combination can break degeneracies thus significantly improve constraint precision. The joint IM+FRB+GW+SGL provide errors $\sigma(\Omega_{\rm m})=0.0022$ $\sigma(H_0)=0.16\ \rm km\ s^{-1}\ Mpc^{-1}$ $\Lambda$CDM model, which meet precision cosmology, i.e., parameters better than 1%. addition, give $\sigma(w)=0.020$ $w$CDM $\sigma(w_0)=0.066$ $\sigma(w_a)=0.25$ $w_0w_a$CDM all constraints obtained by CMB+BAO+SN data. between has magnificent prospects.

Precision cosmology and the density of baryons in the universe.
Big-bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) and cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropy measurements give independent, accurate measurements of the baryon density and can test the framework of the standard cosmology. Early CMB data are consistent with the long-standing conclusion from BBN that baryons constitute a small fraction of matter in the Universe, but may indicate a slightly higher value for th...
متن کاملCosmology in a brane-universe
The purpose of this contribution is to present a new approach to extra-dimensions, the “braneworld” scenario, where ordinary matter is trapped in a three-dimensional surface, called ‘brane’, embedded in a higher dimensional space. This idea must be contrasted with the traditional Kaluza-Klein treatment of extra dimensions, where matter fields live everywhere in compact extra dimensions and can ...
متن کاملLoop quantum cosmology evolution operator of an FRW universe with a positive cosmological constant
The self-adjointness of an evolution operator corresponding to the model of the flat FRW universe with massless scalar field and cosmological constant quantized in the framework of loop quantum cosmology is studied in the case > 0. It is shown that, for < c 10:3‘ 2 Pl , the operator admits many self-adjoint extensions, each of the purely discrete spectrum. On the other hand for c the operator i...
متن کاملA Comparison of two Cosmological Models: Inflationary Cosmology and the Cyclic Universe
To explain current observations the early universe must have been incredibly flat and homogeneous. Tiny density fluctuations must have been present to seed large scale structure. Any viable model of the universe has to explain these cosmological puzzles and be able to generate a nearly flat spectrum of density perturbations, as required by microwave background data. Inflation is a period of acc...
متن کاملIntroduction to Cosmology and the Cosmological Constant
This paper is written for the course apm426S, taught by James Colliander in Spring 2002, University of Toronto. It gives an introduction to cosmology, concentrating on the effects of the cosmological constant Λ in the context of isotropic and homogeneous universe. Solutions to the Einstein’s equation with and without Λ are carefully derived, analyzed and compared. Some current problems with Λ a...
