The difficulty of delivering electrical power to rural areas motivated the researchers explore more accessible sources. Hydropower is considered a desirable option due its sustainability and lower costs. Pelton turbines have been widely used in hydropower plants because their low installation maintenance This study provides computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model for turbine performance under various flow conditions. based on conservation mass principle, Newton’s second law, first law thermodynamics. It predict torque produced by at different rotational speeds. Previously published experimental results same geometry parameters were validate model’s predictions. Validation revealed that can reproduce results. required robustness use as tool design modification.
