چکیده
Brown alga Ectocarpus sp. belongs to Phaeophyceae, a class of macroalgae that evolved complex multicellularity. is dominant seaweed in temperate regions, abundant mostly the intertidal zones, an environment with high levels abiotic stresses. Previous transcriptomic analysis revealed several genes consistently induced by various stresses; one these Esi0017_0056, which encodes protein unknown function. Bioinformatics analyses indicated encoded Esi0017_0056 soluble and monomeric. The was successfully expressed Escherichia coli,Arabidopsis thaliana Nicotiana benthamiana. In A. gene under constitutive stress inducible promoters led improved tolerance salinity temperature expression key stress-related studied transgenic wild type qPCR. Expression involved ABA-induced tolerance, K+ homeostasis, chaperon activities were significantly up-regulated line. This study first report function gene, highly responsive stresses, thaliana, leading salt stress.

A Novel Stress-Associated Protein ‘AtSAP10’ from Arabidopsis thaliana Confers Tolerance to Nickel, Manganese, Zinc, and High Temperature Stress
We describe here the functional characterization of a novel AtSAP10, a member of the Stress Associated Protein (SAP) gene family, from Arabidopsis thaliana ecotype Columbia. AtSAP10 contains an A20 and AN1 zinc-finger domain at the N- and C-terminal, respectively. Arabidopsis SAP10 showed differential regulation by various abiotic stresses such as heavy metals and metalloids (Ni, Cd, Mn, Zn, an...
متن کاملKy-2, a Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor, Enhances High-Salinity Stress Tolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana.
Adaptation to environmental stress requires genome-wide changes in gene expression. Histone modifications are involved in gene regulation, but the role of histone modifications under environmental stress is not well understood. To reveal the relationship between histone modification and environmental stress, we assessed the effects of inhibitors of histone modification enzymes during salinity s...
متن کاملEthanol Enhances High-Salinity Stress Tolerance by Detoxifying Reactive Oxygen Species in Arabidopsis thaliana and Rice
High-salinity stress considerably affects plant growth and crop yield. Thus, developing techniques to enhance high-salinity stress tolerance in plants is important. In this study, we revealed that ethanol enhances high-salinity stress tolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana and rice. To elucidate the molecular mechanism underlying the ethanol-induced tolerance, we performed microarray analyses using ...
متن کاملMutants of Arabidopsis thaliana defective in the acquisition of tolerance to high temperature stress.
The ability of organisms to acquire thermotolerance to normally lethal high temperatures is an ancient and conserved adaptive response. However, knowledge of cellular factors essential to this response is limited. Acquisition of thermotolerance is likely to be of particular importance to plants that experience daily temperature fluctuations and are unable to escape to more favorable environment...
متن کاملMapping Salinity Tolerance during Arabidopsis thaliana Germination and Seedling Growth
To characterize and dissect genetic variation for salinity tolerance, we assessed variation in salinity tolerance during germination and seedling growth for a worldwide sample of Arabidopsis thaliana accessions. By combining QTL mapping, association mapping and expression data, we identified genomic regions involved in salinity response. Among the worldwide sample, we found germination ability ...
