A Novel Optimal Time Window Determination Approach for ISAR Imaging of Ship Targets

چکیده

A well-focused and high-resolution inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image of ship target is appropriate to the classification recognition, especially for ISAR presenting ship's top or side view. For this purpose, a novel optimal time window determination (OTWD) approach based on imaging projection plane (IPP) selection proposed in article. First, OTWD determines view via IPP selection. Then, Doppler frequency estimated time-frequency distribution (TFD) calculation azimuth signal one scatterer. case range bin with multiple scatterers, TFD extraction clustering analysis proposed. Afterward, analyzed sharpness determine window, which can ensure high quality resolution. The method verified as accurate effective experiments simulated real measured data.
