A Novel Method for Estimating the Position and Speed of a Winding Segmented Permanent Magnet Linear Motor

This paper presents a novel means of sensorless drive the winding segmented permanent magnet linear motor (WS-PMLM). In order to solve problem deviation position and speed estimation mover caused by sharp changes inductance, flux linkage, back electromotive force (EMF) between segments WS-PMLM, method for compound back-EMF is proposed eliminate blind spot intersegment estimation. terms estimation, full-order observer based on dynamics equation proposed, configuration feedback gain analyzed, simulation used verify that state (FSO) can effectively reduce estimated fluctuation in region accuracy ultimately improved.
