A Novel Cascaded Modular Photovoltaic Energy Storage System for Partial Shading Conditions

چکیده
To satisfy the grid-connected voltage level, both photovoltaic modules and energy storage are connected in series. However, multiple often fall into local maximum power point under partial shading conditions during practical operation, may suffer from a reduction effective capacity caused by characteristic differences among modules. solve this problem, novel cascaded modular photovoltaic-energy system is proposed paper. In topology, achieve tracking of corresponding distributed module, optimization strategy based on particle swarm can ensure efficient constant active transmission (PV/ES) to grid certain time period constraints. Compared with conventional systems, scheme avoid hot spots or strings phenomena for PV large current stresses DC/DC converters. Furthermore, coordination all ES realize independent MPPT each module between PV/ES inconsistency light intensity conditions. A hardware-in-loop platform established verify feasibility effectiveness topology control strategy, achieves efficiency about 97% conditions, thus providing an solution generation system.
