چکیده

The combination of conventional front-end DC-DC converter and H-bridge inverter has been proposed with common-ground (CG) characteristic voltage booting capability. However, it drawback low modulation index utilization which causes high component rating small conversion efficiency. In this paper, a new topology single-phase buck-boost (1P-CG-BBI) is presented to overcome existing drawbacks CG inverters. 1P-CG-BBI uses one more active-switch diode than traditional inverter. Note that the still shares same ground for DC input source AC output voltage, completely eliminates leakage current. A hybrid pulse width (PWM) technique introduced control stage. Accordingly, stage operates similar boost in positive half cycle. negative cycle, behaves as inverting converter. operation DC-AC can be controlled, independently. Consequently, significantly improved compared previous High tends reduce increase system comparison study discussed highlight these advantages. Simulation results conducted using PSIM software are considered verify laboratory prototype also developed further demonstrated accuracy theory. obtains 93.12% 91.83% efficiency at 550-W buck operating, respectively.

A New Topology of Embedded Z-H Buck-Boost Converter

In this paper, a new embedded Z-H (EZ-H) buck-boost converter is proposed. In this topology, two identical dc voltage sources are embedded in a LC network in a series connection with the inductors. The proposed converter eliminates the shoot-through (ST) switching state and there is no need for a front-end diode. Other advantages of the proposed topology are having capability of buck and boost ...

A New Three-Stage Buck in Buck, Boost in Boost Grid-Tied Inverter

A new kind of buck in buck, boost in boost grid tied inverter is analysed in this paper. In this family of inverters only a single power stage works at high frequency at a time. This reduces the losses due to switching and hence improves efficiency. There is only minimum filtering inductance in the power loop and over filtering does not take place. The analysis of the operating modes of the inv...
