A new synergistic strategy for ranking restaurant locations: A decision-making approach based on the hexagonal fuzzy numbers

This research addresses the problem of restaurant locations ranking with applications for a cosmopolitan big city like Kolkata, India. A selection is based on occasions, spending capability, environment, location, comfort, quality food etc. In this paper an exhaustive set factors and sub-factors taken into consideration to select rank restaurants situated at different in Kolkata population around fifteen million. The depends complex, conflicting qualitative attributes. hexagonal fuzzy numbers (HFN) have been used suitably depict imprecise uncertain environment. HFN, its distance measure defuzzification applied deal hesitancy impreciseness decision makers. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) has as Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) tool obtain weights. TOPSIS COPRAS methods were locations. Using comparative analysis it shown that HFN method gives better result than other numbers. sensitivity portion also direction taking suitable possible scenario.
