چکیده
A new species of Liolaemus is described from southwest the town Añelo, Neuquén Province, Argentina. Integrative evidence methodology external morphological characters and molecular phylogenetic analyses mitochondrial DNA (cyt-b) used to place group boulengeri. The phenotypically close L. mapuche. medium large in size (males 77.64–83.98 mm, females 72.88–78.58 mm), with evident sexual dichromatism. Genetic distances mtDNA between its closest relative are greater than 3% (L. cuyanus 7.48–12.02%; josei 7.56–9.60%; puelche 8.23–9.93%; mapuche 8.51–9.79%). Molecular results show as sister one. larger Dorsal ventral scales more numerous mapuche, precloacal pores present absent species. It has strict psammophilic habits, using sand mounds sheltering, under Alpataco (Neltuma alpataco) bushes. boulengeri now contains 75 distributed Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru Uruguay.

متن کاملTwo New Species of Liolaemus Lizards from Northwestern Argentina: Speciation within the Northern Subclade of the Elongatus Group (iguania: Liolaemidae)
The Liolaemus elongatus group currently includes eight species (including the species described herein) of mid-sized, long-tailed, primarily saxicolous lizards. Members of this lineage are distributed in northwestern Argentina along the Andean Cordillera south to the Patagonian Steppe (27–448 S) and over a wide range of elevations (350–3900 m). Here we describe two new species belonging to the ...

—We describe a new species of lizard of the genus Liolaemus from northwestern Chubut Province, Argentina. This new species belongs to the fitzingerii group and is easily distinguished from other members of the group by a combination of morphological and genetic characters. The new species is diagnosable in showing the following combination of characters: dorsal pattern with a conspicuous verteb...
متن کاملA new species of Liolaemus from Añelo sand dunes, northern Patagonia, Neuquén, Argentina, and molecular phylogenetic relationships of the Liolaemus wiegmannii species group (Squamata, Iguania, Liolaemini)
The wiegmannii group of Liolaemus includes L. arambarensis, L. azarai, L. lutzae, L. occipitalis, L. multimaculatus, L. rabinoi, L. riojanus, L. salinicola, L. scapularis, L. wiegmannii, and the species described here. We used sequences of the mitochondrial cyt–b, 12S, and ND4, and the nuclear C–mos gene regions to infer the phylogeny of the majority of the species of the wiegmannii group. We d...

A new species of lizard of the genus Liolaemus from southwestern Rio Negro Province, central Patagonia is described. The new species is a member of the Liolaemus fitzingerii group, and molecular data show it as sister taxon of L. martorii, but it differs in size, squamation, coloration, and sexual dimorphism. Liolaemus casamiquelai sp. nov. is terrestrial, dwelling on loose sandy soil in a shru...
