A New Single DC Source Five-Level Boost Inverter Applicable to Grid-Tied Systems

In this paper, a single source five-level boost inverter has been proposed and analyzed. The structure includes single-input multi-output (SIMO) converter. structure, the DC link voltage controlled by controlling implemented DC-DC addition, switching pattern obtained based on pick current control (PCC) method. order to test prove performance of system is tested with local grid. Since active reactive powers have PCC method, generated energy in renewable can be transferred grid high-quality current. introduced its operation different modes analyzed completely. Furthermore, design considerations required elements investigated. Also, power loss analysis comparison results converter other similar structures presented. Finally, practical theoretical analysis, 620 W laboratory prototype assembled tested.
