A New Pelican Optimization Algorithm for the Parameter Identification of Memristive Chaotic System

A memristor is a kind of nonlinear electronic component. Parameter identification for memristive chaotic systems multi-dimensional variable optimization problem. It one the key issues in control and synchronization. To identify unknown parameters accurately quickly, we introduce, this paper, modified Pelican Optimization Algorithm (POA) called fractional-order Pareto (FPPOA). First, pelican population’s diversity augmented with integration fractional sequence. Next, utilization distribution incorporated to alter hunting strategy pelicans POA. These measures are effective hastening speed finding an optimal solution circumventing local issues. Thirdly, FPPOA used determine values simplest system, which has property conditional symmetry. The proposed algorithm was evaluated during simulations, where it utilized solve six objective functions varying unimodal multimodal types. performance exceeds three traditional swarm intelligence algorithms. In parameter experiment, results had error rates all within 1% range. Extensive testing shows that our new faster rate convergence better than some other
