A New LC-MS Method for Evaluating the Efficacy of Pesticide Residue Removal from Fruit Surfaces by Washing Agents

نویسندگان

چکیده

Modern agriculture uses pesticides to improve the quality and quantity of crops. However, pesticide residues can remain on agricultural products, posing very serious risks human health life. It is recommended wash fruits vegetables before consumption. To assess removal efficacy residue, a sensitive reliable method based ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) was developed optimized for simultaneous determination four (acetamiprid, boscalid, pyraclostrobin, pendimethalin). Isotope-labeled standards were used validate in terms recovery, linearity, matrix effects, precision, sensitivity. The mean recovery values both low-quality control (LQC) high-quality (HQC) transitions range 89–105%, intra-day precision less than 13.7%. limits detection (LOD) quantification (LOQ) 0.003 mg/kg 0.01 mg/kg, respectively. proposed suitable evaluating detergents removing from fruit surfaces.

Assessing Washing Methods for Reduction of Pesticide Residues in Tomatoes and Other Produce Using LC/MS and GC/MS Authors

Various washing protocols have been assessed for efficacy using Agilent LC/MS and GC/MS instrumentation to measure pesticide residues in tomatoes and other produce. Washing procedures in water and various solutions, with and without sonication, were evaluated in the laboratory. In general, the effect of sonication depended on the washing treatment and on the pesticide. A separate experiment mea...

[Validation study on a rapid multi-residue method for determination of pesticide residues in vegetables and fruits by LC-MS/MS].

A validation study was conducted on a rapid multiresidue method for determination of pesticide residues in vegetables and fruits by LC-MS/MS. Pesticide residues in the vegetables or fruits were extracted with acetonitrile in a disposable tube using a homogenizer, followed by salting out with anhydrous magnesium sulfate and sodium chloride in the presence of citrate salts for buffering. The extr...
