A New Electrohydraulic Hybrid Energy-Saving System Used on the Reversible Rolling Mills

In the face of global energy crisis, use hybrid technology is an important way to achieve efficient storage and utilization. Hybrid systems have been successfully applied automobiles construction machinery, but no research study has conducted on design application recovery for reversible rolling mills. This article proposes a new type noncoaxial parallel electrohydraulic drive system configuration mills save energy. It proposed collect braking previous pass mill roll surplus power original primary motor then start or accelerate process next pass. A test experiment was established energy-saving efficiency verified. By 14 passes, 255.892 kJ can be recovered. The overall rate around 71.547%. will significantly promote saving, low carbon, green, other aspects
