چکیده

The overall goal of this study is to propose a new approach simplify the recycling process for producing high quality material from waste beverage bottles and other sources at lower cost by using mechanical chemical reactions inside injection molding machines in one-step process. water soft drink are made PET material, while caps mainly HDPE. blends HDPE incompatible. resulted has poor properties due immiscibility polymer blend components, phase separation, lack interfacial adhesion. (HDPE-g-MA) was found be an excellent reactive compatibilizer PET/HDPE blend. For purpose investigating morphological study, rPET virgin weight compositions 80/20, 60/40 were modified with concentrations 2 5 wt percent (HDPE-g-MA). addition 4,4-Methylenebis (phenyl isocyanate) compatiblizer increased viscosity molecular also improving miscibility interaction bonds between molecules, resulting significant reduction tension improved dispersion adhesion via interpenetration entanglements interface. segments have been grafted onto backbone chains. Since crystallinity low, crystallization temperature reduced. characteristics achieving uniform morphology. main finding that immiscible rPET/HDPE materials can treated processed single step sufficient because it shows improvement characteristics, two-step process, namely extrusion followed molding, improves fewer more expensive.

Chemical migration in drinking water stored in polyethylene terephthalate ( PET ) bottles : a

Due to its chemical inertness and physical properties PET is particularly suitable for food packaging applications, especially for drinking water. More bottled water is consumed than other bottled beverages. This article is a survey and toxicological investigation of chemical compounds, which are able to diffuse from PET bottles to water. The exact detailed chemical composition of plastic mater...

Development of Chemical Recycling Process for Post- Consumer PET Bottles by Methanolysis in Supercritical Methanol

Post-consumer PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles have been recycled into fiber and sheet products ever since the Containers and Packing Recycling Law came into effect in 1997. There has been a growing need, however, for a chemical recycling process. In this process, post-consumer PET bottles are recycled into monomers that can be used as feed stocks for the recycled production of PET bott...

Chemical compounds and toxicological assessments of drinking water stored in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles: A source of controversy reviewed.

A declaration of conformity according to European regulation No. 10/2011 is required to ensure the safety of plastic materials in contact with foodstuffs. This regulation established a positive list of substances that are authorized for use in plastic materials. Some compounds are subject to restrictions and/or specifications according to their toxicological data. Despite this, the analysis of ...

Migration of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde into mineral water in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.

The levels of formaldehyde (FA) and acetaldehyde (AA) in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and in commercial mineral water are reported. All the water samples bottled in Japan contained detectable levels of FA (10.1-27.9 microg l(-1)) and AA (44.3-107.8 microg l(-1)). Of 11 European bottled water samples, eight did not contain either FA or AA, while the remaining three had detectable lev...
