A Multidimensional Model of Sustainable Renewable Energy Linking Purchase Intentions, Attitude and User Behavior in Nigeria

This study investigates the challenges to Nigeria’s renewable energy growth; specifically, it analyzes factors that influence intention use in Nigeria. paper was based on theory of planned behavior, technology acceptance model, unified and technology, diffusion innovation theory, previous studies acceptance. The proposed hypotheses have been tested using structured questionnaires a sample 500 Nigerian family heads. A structural equation modeling technique used analyze relationships studied variables—relative advantage, ease use, perceived behavioral control, subjective norm, awareness, cost, attitude, income, gender, age, education—with purchase intention. findings show attitude has significant mediating effect relationship between determinants (relative cost awareness) no impact control variables (income, education, gender) model. study’s results support business decisions sub-sector Nigeria other developing nations. Furthermore, this could serve as reference for government make concerning implementation energy.
