A Multi-User Terminology Mapping Toolbox

چکیده
Semantic interoperability is a major challenge in multi-center data sharing projects, that the German Initiative for Medical Informatics taking up. With respect to laboratory data, enriching site-specific tests and measurements with LOINC codes appears be crucial step supporting cross-institutional research. However, this effort very time-consuming, as it requires expert knowledge of local site specifics. To ease process, we developed generic manual collaborative terminology mapping tool, MIRACUM Mapper. It allows creation arbitrary workflows involving different user roles. A workflow two roles has been implemented at University Hospital Erlangen support mapping. Additionally, LabVisualizeR provides summary statistics visualizations analyte data. We toolbox facilitates mappings streamlines review well validation process. The tools are available under an open source license.

Towards a Toolbox for Geographic User Interfaces
User interfaces are a prominent part of applications that manipulate graphic data (geography, car-tography, CAD/CAM, ...). Although some work has been done recently in this area, each system usually has its own ad hoc user interface built from scratch, and there is no user interface model general enough for customizing the presentation of a speciic application which handles graphic data. This p...
متن کاملMnM: a Max/MSP mapping toolbox
In this report, we describe our development on the Max/MSP toolbox MnM dedicated to mapping between gesture and sound, and more generally to statistical and machine learning methods. This library is built on top of the FTM library, which enables the efficient use of matrices and other data structures in Max/MSP. Mapping examples are described based on various matrix manipulations such as Single...
متن کاملMeTMapS - Medical Terminology Mapping System
Motivation: Medical terminology mapping is a long-standing challenge for projects requiring retrieval, querying and integration of heterogeneous patient data. Current tools fail to fully uti-lise the richness of the underlying coding systems, and can be difficult to install and maintain. For example, National Library of Medicine's UMLS provides a rich collection of terminology mapping , however...
متن کاملAutomatic methods for mapping Biomedical terminologies in a Health Multi-Terminology Portal
Terminology mapping is an important and crucial task to improve semantic interoperability between health care applications and resources. In 2009, CISMeF created a Health Multi-Terminological Portal (HMTP) to search concepts among all the health terminologies available in French (or in English and translated in French) included in this portal and to browse it dynamically. To map terminologies i...
