A Miniaturized Broadband Omnidirectional Monopole Antenna Operating at UHF Band in Wireless Communication

Abstract In the paper, a miniaturized broadband omnidirectional monopole antenna is designed. The two bending E-shaped structures are introduced into common two-strip structure antenna. radiation patches can be effectively distributed on sides of dialectic body by four shorting pins. Thus, proposed has function miniaturization and integration. According to structures, whole smaller size 318mm*12.2mm, which improve 34.2% integration degree. Finally, present manufactured, measured data shows that it stable gains good patterns from 463MHz 513MHz.
