چکیده

Introducing new technologies in co-generation and tri-generation systems has led to a rapid growth toward the energy hubs (EHs) as an effective way for coupling among various types. On other hand, have usually been exposed uncertain environments due presence of renewable sources (RESs) interaction with electricity markets. Hence, this paper develops novel optimization framework based on hybrid information gap decision theory (IGDT) robust (RO) handle optimal self-scheduling EH within medium-term horizon large consumers. The proposed mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) aims capture advantages both IGDT RO techniques dealing complicated binary variables achieving worst-case realization arisen from wind turbine generation day-ahead (DA) market uncertainties. approach is presented model DA price uncertainty while related generations taken into account by IGDT. Numerical results validate capability facing amount total operation cost increases 8.6 % taking uncertainties through IGDT-RO compared case considering perfect information. Besides, reveal that decisions can be operator using model.

Medium Term Hydroelectric Production Planning - A Multistage Stochastic Optimization Model

Multistage stochastic programming is a key technology for making decisions over time in an uncertain environment. One of the promising areas in which this technology is implementable, is medium term planning of electricity production and trading where decision makers are typically faced with uncertain parameters (such as future demands and market prices) that can be described by stochastic proc...

An Improved Optimization Model for Scheduling of a Multi-Product Tree-Like Pipeline

In the petroleum supply chain, oil refined products are often delivered to distribution centers by pipelines since they provide the most reliable and economical mode of transportation over large distances. This paper addresses the optimal scheduling of a complex pipeline network with multiple branching lines. The main challenge is to find the optimal sequence and time of product injections/deli...

Optimal Short-Term Scheduling of Multi-Chiller Plants Considering Energy Requirement of Cooling Towers, Pumps and Chillers

During extremely hot summer days, air conditioning systems are known as major electricity consumers in residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Moreover, high energy requirement of multiple-chiller plants may cause an interconnected power grid be faced with annual on-peak electrical demand, load-generation mismatch, voltage collapse and catastrophic wide area blackout. Therefore, this pa...

Operational and Structural Optimization of Multi-Carrier Energy Systems

This paper presents an approach for the combined optimization of energy systems including multiple energy carriers such as electricity, natural gas, and district heat. Power flow and conversion between the different energy infrastructures are described as multi-input multi-output coupling, what enables simple analysis and optimization of the flows. While previous work deals with operational opt...
