چکیده
Taenia solium taeniasis/cysticercosis is an important global food-borne infectious disease transmitted between humans and pigs. According to both national surveys field investigations, the prevalence of in China has significantly decreased recent decades. The primary control measures are health education promotion, meat inspection, chemotherapy. Other factors that influence or fundamentally affect human pig T. have been identified, such as farming patterns shift a revolution sanitary toilets, which block transmission routes. Pig practices shifted from backyard large-scale intensive farming, thus decreasing contact with, consumption of, excreta. increased use toilets facilitated hygiene by preventing excreta contacting humans, polluting environment, feed, water. occurrence infections markedly result these social changes. objective this review describe ecological determinants cysticercosis decline China.

Epidemiology of Taenia Solium Taeniasis/cysticercosis in India and Nepal
The fact that cysticercosis is a major health hazard in India and Nepal is evident from the large number of patients with neurocysticercosis (NCC) managed in hospitals in the two countries in recent years. Unfortunately, population-based epidemiological data on Taenia solium taeniasis and cysticercosis are lacking from both countries. Hospital-based data and small population-based studies form ...

The first Taenia solium taeniasis/cysticercosis case in Indonesia has not been clearly recognized or recorded. There has been no regular report of this disease. On a very few occasions, cysticercosis cellulosae cases were reported among post-mortem examinations of slaughtered pigs, particularly in Medan, North Sumatra Province, and Denpasar, Bali Province. Since 1972, the Directorate General of...

OBJECTIVES Taenia solium Cysticercosis is a leading cause of epilepsy and neurological disability in the developing world. It is caused by ingestion of the eggs of the tapeworm, T. solium Taeniasis. The prevalence of either T. solium Cysticercosis or T. solium Taeniasis in the United States in populations at risk is poorly understood. The primary objectives of this study are to perform the firs...
متن کاملControl of Taenia solium taeniasis and cysticercosis by focus-oriented chemotherapy of taeniasis.
The mortality, mortality, and disability due to Taenia solium neurocysticercosis are common and serious health problems in some regions, including several Asian countries. Neurocysticercosis in man and cysticercosis in pigs can be controlled by treatment, in man with a single, low (2 1/2 or 5 mg/kg) and safe dose of praziquantel. The problem which remains is the identification of a Taenia soliu...
متن کاملTaenia solium cysticercosis.
Cysticercosis, the infection of the larval tissue stage of the pork tapeworm, Taenia solium, is endemic to most developing countries and increasingly is seen in industrialized countries because of immigration. Human infection is a major cause of acquired epilepsy, and porcine infection causes important economic losses to farm workers. Clinical manifestations vary because of the variable number,...
