A Logic for Conditional Local Strategic Reasoning

Abstract We consider systems of rational agents who act and interact in pursuit their individual collective objectives. study formalise the reasoning an agent, or external observer, about expected choices action other based on objectives, order to assess reasoner’s ability, expectation, achieve own objective. To formalize such we extend Pauly’s Coalition Logic with three new modal operators conditional strategic reasoning, thus introducing for Local Conditional Strategic Reasoning $$\mathsf {ConStR}$$ ConStR . provide formal semantics concurrent game models, introduce matching notion bisimulation each them, prove invariance Hennessy–Milner property discuss compare briefly expressiveness. Finally, also propose axioms basic full logic.
