A Lab-Scale Experiment for keV Sterile Neutrino Search

We developed a simple small-scale experiment to measure the beta decay spectrum of $^{3}$H. The aim this research is investigate presence sterile neutrinos in keV region. Tritium nuclei were embedded 1$\times$1$\times$1 cm$^3$ LiF crystal from $^6$Li(n,$\alpha$)$^3$H reaction. energy electrons absorbed was measured with magnetic microcalorimeter at 40 mK. report new method sample preparation, experiments, and analysis $^3$H measurements. 10-hour measurement agrees well expected decay. results indicate that can be used search for keV-scale neutrinos.
