A hyper-heuristic based ensemble genetic programming approach for stochastic resource constrained project scheduling problem

In project scheduling studies, to the best of our knowledge, hyper-heuristic collaborative is first-time applied with random activity durations. A based ensemble genetic programming (HH-EGP) method proposed for solving stochastic resource constrained problem (SRCPSP) by evolving an priority rules (PRs). The approach features (1) integrating critical path into resource-based policy class generate schedules; (2) improving existing single research construct a suitable solution space SRCPSP; and (3) bettering evolution each subpopulation from decision three different local searches in corporation discriminant mutation population renewal. addition, sequence voting mechanism designed deal decision-making process SRCPSP. benchmark PSPLIB performed verify advantage HH-EGP over heuristics, meta-heuristics approaches.
