A ferroelectric metal insulator (MIM) varactor structure incorporating a floating and coplanar waveguide (CPW) has been introduced here. The work of the proposed is based on field-dependent material properties (Ba, Sr) TiO 3 (BST) thin film. capacitance tunability 44% achieved for bias voltage 0–10 V over frequency range 1–3 GHz. yields compact area, high density, reduced mask process (two masks).
