چکیده
Wearable flexible electronic strain sensor devices have developed rapidly in recent years due to their potential capacity detect human motion various situations. However, it still remains a big challenge fabricate sensors with high sensitivity over wide workable range. In order meet this challenge, new type of based on elastomer/carbon nanotube composite fiber is reported work. Elastomer fibers are initially prepared via the electrospinning styrene ethylene butene block copolymer (SEBS). The resultant SEBS then functionalized by sequentially coating dopamine (DA) and carboxyl group (-COOH) grafted multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) under vacuum filtration ultrasonication. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) thermogravimetric analysis reveals that large amount MWCNTs firmly bonded onto evenly distributed. SEBS@PDA/MWCNTs exhibit excellent performance, including gauge factor 3717 range up 530%. Furthermore, demonstrate washing fastness superior monitoring both small strains (e.g., pulse beats vocal cord vibrations) finger, elbow, knee bending).

Highly Sensitive and Stretchable Strain Sensor Based on Ag@CNTs
Due to the rapid development and superb performance of electronic skin, we propose a highly sensitive and stretchable temperature and strain sensor. Silver nanoparticles coated carbon nanowires (Ag@CNT) nanomaterials with different Ag concentrations were synthesized. After the morphology and components of the nanomaterials were demonstrated, the sensors composed of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) a...
متن کاملHighly Stretchable, Strain Sensing Hydrogel Optical Fibers.
A core-clad fiber made of elastic, tough hydrogels is highly stretchable while guiding light. Fluorescent dyes are easily doped into the hydrogel fiber by diffusion. When stretched, the transmission spectrum of the fiber is altered, enabling the strain to be measured and also its location.
متن کاملStretchable and highly sensitive graphene-on-polymer strain sensors
The use of nanomaterials for strain sensors has attracted attention due to their unique electromechanical properties. However, nanomaterials have yet to overcome many technological obstacles and thus are not yet the preferred material for strain sensors. In this work, we investigated graphene woven fabrics (GWFs) for strain sensing. Different than graphene films, GWFs undergo significant change...
متن کاملDesign and Simulation of a New Highly Sensitive Gas Sensor Based on Negative Refraction Photonic Crystal
In this paper, design and simulation of a new highly sensitive gas sensor based on a hybrid photonic crystal (PC) structure, containing negative and positive refractive index sections, is presented. It has been shown that using a PC with negative refraction in the first section, the transmitted power is concentrated on the entrance of the sensing channel, and the transmission of the proposed se...
متن کاملDesign and simulation of a highly sensitive photonic crystal temperature sensor based on a cavity filled with the distilled water
In this paper design and two dimensional (2D) simulation of a photonic crystal highly sensitive temperature sensor is presented. The 2D simulations are based on finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and are done using Rsoft software. The device is constructed using a cavity filled with the distilled water located in the center of the photonic crystal waveguide. The operation of the propos...
