A fault location method based on polarization analysis for coal mine

A fault is a main cause for water inrush in coal mines. The detection of faults plays an important role the prevention and governance It hard to determine direction seismic wave propagation under condition full space mines, leading difficulty accurate detection. This paper compares analyzes polarization information extraction capability time-domain analysis, frequency-domain time-frequency (TF)-domain proposes TF-domain analysis-based method locating Firstly, analysis signals mixed time domain was carried out. results three kinds show that can accurately multi-type case aliasing. Secondly, time-space-domain high-order three-dimensional three-component numerical simulation experiment conducted. adopted extract each geophone locate fault. error predicted strike 0.16°, distance deviation about 2.03%. Finally, in-situ mine were used predict location data from on-site actual drilling verified effectiveness based on analysis. consistent with data, 5.5%.
