A Dual‐Metal‐Catalyzed Sequential Cascade Reaction in an Engineered Protein Cage**

چکیده
Herein, we describe the creation of an artificial protein cage housing a dual-metal-tagged guest that catalyzes linear, two-step sequential cascade reaction. The consists fusion HaloTag and monomeric rhizavidin. Inside capsid, established ruthenium-catalyzed allylcarbamate deprotection reaction followed by gold-catalyzed ring-closing hydroamination led to indoles phenanthridines with overall yield up 66 % in aqueous solutions. Furthermore, show encapsulation stabilizes metal catalysts against deactivation air, proteins cell lysate.

متن کاملAll change: protein conformation and the ubiquitination reaction cascade
The structures of enzymes that collectively modify proteins by covalent addition of ubiquitin-like protein moieties have provided significant insights into the regulatory pathways they compose and have highlighted the importance of protein flexibility for the mechanism and regulation of the ubiquitination reaction.
متن کاملGenetically Engineered Mesenchymal Stem Cells Stably Expressing Green Fluorescent Protein
Objective(s) Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are nonhematopoietic stromal cells that are capable of differentiating into and contribute to the regeneration of mesenchymal tissues. Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) are ideal targets in cell transplantation and tissue engineering. Enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) has been an important reporter gene for gene therapy. The aim of this stu...
متن کاملMechanical gating of a mechanochemical reaction cascade
Covalent polymer mechanochemistry offers promising opportunities for the control and engineering of reactivity. To date, covalent mechanochemistry has largely been limited to individual reactions, but it also presents potential for intricate reaction systems and feedback loops. Here we report a molecular architecture, in which a cyclobutane mechanophore functions as a gate to regulate the activ...
متن کاملField Cage Studies and Progressive Evaluation of Genetically-Engineered Mosquitoes
BACKGROUND A genetically-engineered strain of the dengue mosquito vector Aedes aegypti, designated OX3604C, was evaluated in large outdoor cage trials for its potential to improve dengue prevention efforts by inducing population suppression. OX3604C is engineered with a repressible genetic construct that causes a female-specific flightless phenotype. Wild-type females that mate with homozygous ...
