چکیده
Due to the oxygen shortage at high altitudes, use of diesel engines in small aircraft is limited a low ceiling level. Here, we propose significantly extend level by introducing an in-cylinder steam reforming system. In this arrangement, fuel direct-injection assembly comprises two-stage process. first stage, blend methanol and water injected into hot previously compressed cylinder charge onto catalyst. Residual heat absorbed due evaporation steam-reforming process produce hydrogen. second with lower ignition temperature than hydrogen initiate combustion, while (from stage) released through oxidation. Essentially, exploited extra fuel, which increases cycle efficiency. content increased additional atoms that are included particular molecules. These when decomposed during We show owing addition cylinder, flight can be extended from 5000 9000 ft, indicated efficiency increase up 6%.

متن کاملOptimization of Piston for Diesel Engine Using Kriging Model
Diesel engine combustion chamber which reduces exhaust emission has been designed using CFD analysis and optimization techniques. In order to save computational time for design, the Kriging model, one of the response surface models, is adopted here. For the robust exploration, both the estimated function value of the model and its uncertainty are considered at the same time. In the present prob...
