A Compromised Decision-Making Approach to Third-Party Logistics Selection in Sustainable Supply Chain Using Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy VIKOR Methods

With the effects of COVID-19 pandemic, e-commerce trend is driving faster, significantly impacting supply chains around world. Thus, importance logistics and chain functions has been amplified in almost every business that ships physical goods. In Vietnam, service sector seen rapid expansion. Since more businesses are seeking third-party (3PL) providers to outsource functions, this article aims offer decision-makers an integrated consistent model for evaluating selecting most efficient 3PLs. To end, authors exploit a hybrid multi-criteria method which fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) vlsekriterijumska optimizacija i kompromisno resenje (FVIKOR) while examining influential conflicting criteria regarding economic, level, environmental, social, risk aspects. Fuzzy information natural decision-making considered, linguistic variables used mitigate uncertain levels weights. First, FAHP (the weighting method) adopted evaluate calculate each criterion’s relative significant weight. FVIKOR compromised ranking then rank alternatives. The combination methods provides accurate results. As result, reliability delivery time, voice customer, cost, network management, quality impactful factors outsourcing problem.
